Drive along the Brunig pass with an optional stop at Hergiswil Glasi, then if requested guests can enjoy Ballenberg – the swiss outdoor museum and then journey onto either the Aare Gorge where glacial water has cut a deep gorge into the limestone cliffs which is hardly more than a metre wide at it`s narrowest point.

Or for an alternative, visit the Rosenlaui glacier gorge which has been attracting visitors to the waterfalls and tunnels to see glacial water crash to valley below.

Close by are the mystical Reichenbach Falls where in the book Sherlock Holmes is said to have perished.

Brienz is a traditional swiss village best known for its wood carvings.

TRIP ADVISOR REVIEW
We are traveling with our 2 young children (2 and 4) in Switzerland without a car, and we wanted to get out into the smaller towns and countryside. We are so glad we took a tour with Chris! He was prepared with carseats, a great sense of humour, and a lot of patience. We saw several breathtaking vistas, sleepy and beautiful Swiss towns, and a fantastic chocolate factory. We would not have been able to arrange such a wonderful day by ourselves, especially without knowing the language. The 3 adults enjoyed our time with Chris, and the 2 little ones are still asking where he’s gone – he had them laughing even when it was way past naptime. I highly recommend booking a tour – it is worth it!!
