10) Brienzersee and Thunersee overnight Tour

You will see easily why this region in the heart of Switzerland is so popular with tourists; however the aim is to visit the local places so guests can experience authentic activities as well.

The beauty of this tour is not just in the number of amazing places we visit, but it is totally up to you as to where we visit and stay in the 2 days. All that is required in advance is our resting place which can either be in Interlaken (shops and hub), Thun (Castles and quaint town) or Spiez (beautiful bay on the lake). The interesting and diverse places available are along the Brunig pass, passing through Lungern, then if requested guests can enjoy Ballenberg – the swiss outdoor museum and then journey onto Brienz, a traditional 12th century authentic and charming village famous for its lake promenade and it`s wood carvings in Brunngasse. The Rothorn offers the opportunity to take a steam train up the mountain. St Beatus caves offers a land locked in time, tunnels, little caves, stalactites and stalagmites formed by nature itself. Take an optional trip to Niederhorn for some amazing views of Thunersee, cross the suspension bridge above Gunten. The enchanting Giessbach waterfalls are well worth a visit as is lunch at the enchanting hotel overlooking Brienz lake and journey further north to Axalp for the Schnitzerlweg.  Istelwald village is also an option and for a rainy day, take a Boat cruise.
